From Armenia to Estonia
It all started in 1998 in Armenia when our family started working on food with a simple but heartfelt desire β to offer honest, delicious and home-cooked food. The recipes we cook today are not born on paper, but in the kitchen, in the middle of the family, passed down from generation to generation. These tastes have sent us through years and countries.
When we moved to Estonia, we brought these tastes and values with us. We wanted to create a place where people would feel expected β like a guest in our home. That's how Smile was born. On September 7, 2016, we opened the Tartu restaurant, which carries the work, care and love of our family.

In November 2025, we expanded with Smile+ Peosaal β a space for celebrations, parties, and heartfelt moments.

At Smile, the best traditions of Armenian and Georgian cuisine meet. Our menu is lively and changing, but some things always remain β hand-made khinkali, fresh khachapuri, and traditional Armenian shashlik that we are particularly proud of.
